KabaDocumentation

Attention is all you need, train yours.

Kaba is two programs that work together:

  • Kaba Console (kaba) is the desktop client: a tiling browser with a terminal, file explorer, desktop, memory store and model harness in one window.
  • Kaba Control (kabactl) is the engine behind it: a single Rust binary that serves the local API, proxy, memory store, model inference and training, and the encrypted peer mesh. It also runs on its own as a headless node.

These docs cover Kaba Console 0.146 and kabactl 0.87.

Unless a page says otherwise, they describe Kaba Personal, where everything is local: your account, your keys, your policies, your devices. Kaba Enterprise with fleet management centralizes sign-in, policy, enrolment and updates. See what fleet control changes.

Install Kaba

Getting started walks through install, first run and the three controls you will use most.

How Memory Works

Hippocampus is where pages, terminal sessions and file activity become private, encrypted memory.
